Alpine Aminos is a family-owned and veteran-owned supplier of Research Use Only materials. We were created around a simple belief: researchers should have access to clearer documentation, broader analytical review, and honest communication about what testing results do—and do not—establish.

We are not a manufacturer, medical provider, pharmacy, compounding facility, or treatment provider. Our role is to source laboratory research materials, coordinate independent analytical testing for applicable batches, review batch-specific documentation, apply internal release criteria, and publish the available reports.

Why We Started Alpine Aminos

We created Alpine Aminos after seeing how often researchers were expected to make purchasing decisions based on a product label and a single purity percentage. A purity result can be useful, but it does not answer every question about identity, content, microbial findings, endotoxins, or elemental contaminants.

We believed a more responsible approach was possible—one centered on batch-specific documentation, multiple analytical checkpoints, responsive support, and clear explanations of testing limitations.

As a family-owned and veteran-owned company, the standards published on this site are personal to us. We remain directly involved in sourcing decisions, documentation review, customer support, and the continued development of our quality program.

Our Role as an RUO Supplier

Alpine Aminos operates as a supplier and reseller of laboratory research materials. Our responsibilities may include:

evaluating suppliers and supply relationships;
coordinating independent third-party analytical testing for applicable batches;
reviewing batch-specific laboratory reports and supporting documentation;
applying internal release, hold, or rejection criteria; and
making available the analytical documentation associated with released batches.

We do not claim to manufacture the materials we sell, and we do not rely solely on supplier-provided labels or representations when independent documentation is available.

A Documentation-First Approach

Our approach is built around documentation rather than broad or unsupported claims. Where testing is performed, the available batch report identifies the sample, analytical method, reported result, and laboratory that conducted the work.

Researchers should review the available documentation for the specific product and batch they are considering. Testing methods, reported units, specifications, and available analytical checkpoints may vary by product, batch, laboratory, and analytical objective.

Multiple Analytical Checkpoints

Applicable peptide batches may be evaluated through a multi-point analytical framework that can include:

Identity testing to evaluate whether the submitted sample is consistent with the expected compound;
Purity testing to evaluate the relative proportion of the primary reported component;
Net-content testing to evaluate the measured quantity in the submitted sample;
Endotoxin testing to screen for bacterial endotoxin within the submitted sample;
Microbial screening to evaluate whether microbial growth is detected under the reported test conditions; and
Heavy-metal screening to evaluate selected elemental contaminants.

Not every test answers the same question, and no individual result provides a complete assessment of every possible attribute or contaminant.

Independent Testing and Batch Review

Where applicable, testing is performed by independent third-party laboratories. Alpine Aminos reviews the available reports as part of its internal release process.

Laboratory methods and report formats may differ, and testing generally applies to the submitted sample and identified batch—not to every individual vial or every possible characteristic of the material.

If results, documentation, or other information raise a concern, Alpine Aminos may place material on hold, request clarification, obtain additional testing, reject inventory, or take other action consistent with its policies and available information.

A Preventive Approach to Quality

Testing is not only about identifying problems that are already expected. It is also about looking for unexpected issues before they become widespread and creating additional checkpoints throughout a fast-changing supply chain.

Our quality program is intended to remain flexible and forward-looking. As analytical capabilities, supply conditions, laboratory methods, and industry risks change, we may adjust testing priorities, release criteria, documentation practices, or supplier requirements.

What Analytical Testing Does Not Establish

Analytical results describe the submitted sample and the tests performed. They do not establish safety, efficacy, dosage, clinical suitability, pharmaceutical suitability, therapeutic value, or regulatory approval.

A reported result such as “pass,” “not detected,” or “no growth” applies only to the method, sample, conditions, limits, and specifications identified in the applicable report. Analytical testing does not change a product’s Research Use Only status.

Research Use Only

All Alpine Aminos products are sold strictly for lawful in vitro laboratory research and analytical applications by qualified purchasers who are at least 21 years of age.

They are not intended for human or veterinary use, ingestion, administration, injection, inhalation, topical application, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, clinical use, therapeutic use, compounding, food, supplement, cosmetic, household use, resale, redistribution, or diversion.
